Retouch once, reuse everywhere

Natural-first portrait retouch for iPhone. Save any edit as a Look and reuse it on every photo — the same treatment, every time, without redoing it from memory.

Coming to the App Store. iPhone only.

Seven days free, no payment method. The retouching runs on your device.

A Look is the whole edit, saved

Everything you adjust becomes one reusable Look. Apply it to the next photo and it lands correctly — because a Look is stored relative to facial landmarks rather than pixel positions, it survives a different angle, a different distance, and a different face.

That is the difference between an editor built for one photo and one built for all of them. The more Looks you keep, the less any single photo costs you.

Skin still looks like skin

Most retouch apps smooth by blurring, and blurring takes the pores with it. PhotoTune separates fine detail from tone first, smooths the tone, and puts the detail back. There is a floor under how much texture can be removed and it lives in the code, not in a slider.

There is also nothing here that changes the shape of your face. No jaw, no chin, no nose, no cheeks — not capped, not subtle, absent. Every other app in this category leads with those tools; leaving them out is the product, not a gap in it.

Everything happens on your phone

Face detection, every adjustment and the final export all run on your device. Only the AI tools use a server, and only when you tap one. Your account stores your Look settings — a few hundred bytes of numbers — and nothing else.

This is a measured claim, not a promise. Across a full session — opening the app, choosing a photo, detecting the face, editing and exporting — the largest thing sent anywhere was 1,551 bytes, and no image data left the device at all.

Pricing

7 days of everything, with no payment method. It does not convert on its own.

No watermark on exports, at any price.

Questions

Do my photos leave my phone?

Only if you use an AI tool. Smoothing, healing, whitening, lighting, grades, face detection and export all run on your device and never touch a server. The ten AI tools — makeup, hair, clothes, backdrops, object removal — need a model too large to run on a phone, so tapping one sends that photo to our service, which does not store it. Nothing you do not tap is ever sent.

What is a Look?

Every adjustment you make is saved as one reusable Look. Because a Look is stored relative to facial landmarks rather than pixel positions, it replays correctly on a different photo, a different angle, a different distance, and a different face.

Are the AI tools unlimited?

No, and they are the only part that is not. A subscription includes 30 AI edits a month; the trial includes 5, once. Everything else — smoothing, healing, whitening, lighting, grades, Looks, export — is unlimited on every plan, because it runs on your phone and costs us nothing to run.

Is there a free trial?

Seven days of everything, with no payment method required. It does not convert on its own — you subscribe when you decide to, or the app stops.

Is there a web or desktop version?

No, and there is not one planned. The retouching runs on your device, which is what keeps your photos yours and the running cost near zero. A browser version would undo both.

Is there an Android version?

Not at launch. PhotoTune is iPhone only for now.

Does it work offline?

The retouching does. Skin, lighting, colour, healing and export all work with no connection at all. Signing in, syncing your Looks and the AI tools need one.

Can it change the shape of my face?

No. There is no tool for it — no jaw, no chin, no nose, no cheeks. PhotoTune adjusts skin, lighting and colour, and clears individual blemishes. Nothing moves the geometry of your face, so the person in the photo is the person who was there.

Are exports watermarked?

No. Exports are clean at every price, including during the trial.
