What this is
PhotoTune is an iPhone application for retouching portrait photographs. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You need an account to use PhotoTune. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. One person, one account — do not share it.
Trial and subscriptions
- New accounts get 7 days of full access. No payment method is required and the trial does not become a subscription on its own.
- After the trial, continued use requires a subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them, which you do in your Apple Account settings rather than here.
- Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy, in your local currency. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. We cannot issue them directly.
Your photos and your Looks
Your photographs are yours. We claim no rights over them, and since they never leave your device we could not use them if we wanted to. The Looks you create are yours too.
Acceptable use
Do not use PhotoTune to create images intended to deceive or to misrepresent someone, and do not edit photographs of people who have not agreed to it. The app limits how far a face can be altered, but that limit is a safeguard, not permission.
What we do not promise
PhotoTune is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it.
Because your photos and edits live on your device, keeping backups of them is up to you. If you delete the app or lose the device, anything not synced to your account goes with it.
Ending it
You can stop using PhotoTune and delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend an account that is being used in breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, the date above changes and we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
